Terms of Service

Lomu.ai is an AI platform that generates short-form videos — scripts, voiceovers, images, captions and edits — and can publish them to connected social platforms on your behalf.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We may also impose usage limits based on your plan (for example, the number of videos generated per month).

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the service.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price. We will notify you in advance of any price change.

You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your access.

You agree not to use the service to create or distribute content that:

• Is illegal, infringes intellectual property, or violates any third party's rights
• Is defamatory, harassing, hateful, or incites violence
• Sexualizes minors or depicts non-consensual acts
• Impersonates a real person or organization in a deceptive way, or spreads disinformation
• Contains malware, or attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service
• Violates the terms of any social platform you publish to

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and remove content, without notice.

You retain ownership of the topics, scripts and assets you provide, and — subject to your plan and payment in good standing — of the videos you generate.

You grant us a limited license to store, process and transmit your content solely to operate the service (for example, to render your videos and publish them to platforms you connect).

You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload and for how you use the videos you create.

Outputs are generated by AI models and may be inaccurate, generic, or unintentionally similar to existing works. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing.

You must comply with the usage policies of the underlying AI providers, and disclose AI-generated content where the law or a platform requires it.

The service integrates with third parties (payment, AI providers, social platforms). Your use of those integrations is also governed by their terms, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will perform or "go viral."

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenues. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to comply with the law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to that venue.

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable right you have under the consumer-protection legislation of your own province, territory or country. Where that law conflicts with these Terms, that law prevails for you.
